Yesterday the pink panther clan celebrated Fida's bday cum Iftar at Amirah's Grill.. It was a lovely gathering and all of us get to relive our childhood past-times by playing bunga mercun and blowing some balloons.. Had a nice n fun time wif them.. Happy bday Fida!!.. Here r some pics..

Happy Childrens' Day everybody!!

It feels gd to have a holiday on a monday..

Part ni aku suka jadi seorang guru.. hehehe..

Anyway, had a great time with Dear yesterday.. gd quality time spent..

Started off by going Geylang and bought some stuff for Raya..

Dear got himself a baju kurung.. very sweet lor the colour.. hehe..

I got some selendangs n thanks for the brooch dear, it's lovely..

Then bought a drink n otak2 for break fast in the car after which we headed to Changi Airport to have a proper dinner..

And of cos, me being me, just realised the existence of,

and was told by Dear tat it has been there for a long time already..

Then walk2 at Airport.. kutuk sana kutuk sini.. hehehe..

Then we went to AMK Hub to watch a movie.. hmmm.. wats the title eh?

I think it's "I Pronounce You Larry & Chuck".. i think ah..

a hilarious movie.. fun, loving and sweet movie too.. touching jugak lor..

So, went home after tat.. nice time with a lovely company..

So friday the chicas & partners had a meetup n iftar at Breeks.. (afah, next time must make it eh).. We had a nice dinner.. thanks to Nurul n Amin for being there first n booking the place.. nak harapkan aku lemau lah nampaknye..

So after tat decided to go Geylang to jln2.. hmmm... very the sesak n kecoh lor..

Amin met a LOT of frens there.. very popular lor tat guy..

Hafiz already like want to fight wif everyone cos of the crowd..

Dear was already complaining abt his oily face.. so vain lor..

Hai.. guys.. hehehe .. sorry eh.. gurau je..

So after one round of Geylang, all of us went home..

A misunderstanding or just plain bossy..

So..

Work is piling up..

Books.. marking.. scoldings.. eye staring..

But kids will b kids.. scold them here n there but i still adore them..

P1s wif their 'cikgu, cikgu, semalam kan.. bapak saya kan.. mak saya kan...' n in just one day i will know their family history..

P3s r kind of better well-behaved but mischievous at times wif their, 'cikgu, tengok ah dia ni cikgu, asyik nak kacau saya je.'

P5s will always make my eyes big n my voice to become like a bapok at times.. but they r the ones who have the lamest n the funniest jokes ever..

Wont say that i know my kids well enuff but i sure know how they r n wat they r like in class.. how slow they can b and how bright they can b..

But i've been wondering..

Do they understand wat i'm teaching?

Is there a difference between the usage 'anda' n 'awak'?

Is there a difference between 'sehelai kertas' n 'sekeping kertas'?

Can a funky usage of IT determines tat they fully understand wat i'm teaching?

Wat i can say is, this is all about adaptibility..

If i can adapt to the system, can u adapt to my teaching style n strategies?

I'm not perfect but all i can say is, i teach my kids, i know them.. n for sure i want the best for them..

Went to sch early in the morning just now to send my students for a malay competition..

Alhamdulillah, they've tried their best i'm sure n everyone gets to go home wif a trophy.. satu satu muka gembira lah sgt.. hehe.. tapi best..

So went to a bbq gathering wif the gang in the afternoon..

Had a fun time n of cos lots of food.. (which at first i thought was little but in the end mcm banyak)..

Shld do more gatherings often so as to release my work stress n tension.. hehe..

After tat, me, dear, rashidah, lokman, farhan n wani went to catch a movie..

Of all the movies, we watched 'Alone'. Damn scary n i sooooo hate the sounds!

But overall, it is a gd movie.. it has an unexpected twist.. very interesting..

Lepas tu, seram sendiri.. haha.. but ok.. chill je beb.. hehe..

Thanks dear for coming along n be the target in the cinema cos of me being the scared one.. hehe..

Right.. Hypocrites...

I've blogged abt this matter before n yes i seriously hate hypocrites.

Can't deny that hypocrites are everywhere.

Can't deny that i can be a hypocrite too at times.

But of cos i dont make it a habit.

So y does this topic comes to my mind early in the morning?

Well, lets just say i had a chat with a fren just now.

While listening to the person's side of the story makes me go, 'Not again.. thought there were no more 'political' issues between him n him, him n her, her n her, they n him, they n her..'

Hai.. well, all i can say is, there's definitely ppl talking abt others..

People do talk abt me i'm sure.

Cos i do talk abt others too.

But just dont overdo it.

Dont influence others or backstab others.

Worse still, dont make your own story n blame him or her for nothing.

There r ppl that i dont like for sure.

And even if i were to work with them, i put my 'irritating' face behind and go through the work with them as best as i could.

'Putting a plastic face' you may say?

Well that happens if you 'buat2 baik' with them then speak evil of them behind their back.

I know lots of ppl like that.

Younger, same age or older than me, yep i know who they are.

But i dont bother.

My principle is simple.

As long as they dont disturb me, then i dont disturb them.

Simple.

Another thing is jealousy.

If you are jealous abt him or her getting good remarks, or doing good jobs, or getting more opportunities than you, pls lah, work towards in achieving it in a gd way n dont say mean things to them saying that they dont deserve it lah, y must it always b him or her lah.

True enough we do say that at times, but like i say, dont overdo it lah..

Sikit2 sudah lah kan.. jgn sampai nak buruk2 kan nama dia n bring the whole universe to stay away from him or her..

Chill ah kan.

I'm sure opportunities come with experience n rezeki.

So if you dont get the opportunity, then work harder.

No point being jealous.

Whatever it is, know where you stand.

You want improvement? Then work on it.

A little disappointed wif the practicum results but all is gd..

So far dah kena buat wksheets, dah ade course to attend, meetings n competitionsssss right after the sch re-opens.. baru nak kenal2 dgn students dah kena gear them up for the competitions.. cantik...

Today's talk ade sikit mcm sindiran n also kesedaran regarding relationships.. It was actually abt relationships between teachers n students n parents.. but somehow we can relate it to other types of relationships.. So i got some quotes written.. (n who says i dont pay attention huh?.. hehe)

So finally practicum has ended.. was actually looking forward to this day but somehow i was sad on fri.. maybe cos i got attached to the school..

The students, colleagues.. they r all special to me.. makes me feel at home.. n i always look forward to going for work everyday (minus the zombie days of cos)..

Well, the practicum stress has ended, a new sch posting, a new beginning altogether.. hopefully everything goes well..

Thanks to colleagues esp the malay dept.. all of u helped me a lot.. not only helping me overcome the workload but also my personal load.. thanks a lot.. thanks for listening n always ready to help.. u know who u r.. really really appreciate it.. thank u..

To my students.. hai.. u ppl r devils! but always b my angels in my heart.. definitely.. everyday is nvr the same with u ppl..
